Eric Wisniewski and Hillenburg Motorsports Prepared for Road America Breakout Following Strong NOLA Recovery

PLYMOUTH, WI (May 8, 2026) – Elevate Motorsports Marketing is excited to announce that Eric Wisniewski and the Hillenburg Motorsports team have arrived at the historic Road America circuit for Rounds 4, 5, and 6 of the Formula Regional Americas (FR Americas) Championship. Following a gritty performance at the season opener, Wisniewski is poised to climb the leaderboard at the “National Park of Speed.”

Wisniewski, a 18-year-old standout from Mason, Michigan, joined Hillenburg Motorsports for the 2026 season with a decorated resume. A former champion of the Formula Development Series and a silver medalist at the SCCA National Championship Runoffs in Formula Enterprise 2 (FE2), Wisniewski is recognized as one of the most promising young talents in the open-wheel ladder system.

Despite facing technical hurdles during the season-opening weekend at NOLA Motorsports Park, Wisniewski demonstrated remarkable consistency. After mechanical issues severely limited his track time during practice, he fought through the field in the No. 25 RE/MAX Commercial Group Ligier JS F3 to secure a string of impressive results:

  • Race 1: 8th Place
  • Race 2: 10th Place
  • Race 3: 5th Place

The strong finish in the final race of the weekend signaled that the team had successfully corrected the car’s mechanical issues, setting a high bar for the upcoming triple-header at Road America.

“NOLA was a weekend of perseverance for us,” said Eric Wisniewski. “We started on the back foot without much practice time, so we were essentially working some bugs out of the car during the actual races. By Race 3, we really started to find our rhythm. The Hillenburg crew has worked tirelessly between events, and I feel like we have the car completely dialed in now. Road America is a place where you need total confidence in the machine to attack the high-speed sections, and I’m ready to show what this No. 25 car can really do.”

Road America Race Schedule (FR Americas):

  • Friday, May 15: Practice & Qualifying
  • Saturday, May 16: Race 1 (Rnd 4) & Race 2 (Rnd 5)
  • Sunday, May 17: Race 3 (Rnd 6)

Wisniewski’s 2026 campaign is proudly supported by RE/MAX Commercial Group, whose partnership has been instrumental in his transition to the FR Americas series.
